Forward Physics at the LHC December 9th - 11th 2007

Overview

 

The 2007 Manchester Christmas Meeting will focus on the physics potential and hardware development of FP420 and RP220 / CMS / TOTEM 220m upgrades at the LHC. These projects are all aimed at upgrading the proton tagging capabilities of ATLAS and CMS with the primary aim of enhancing the discovery potential of the LHC.

The workshop will be held at the University of Manchester's Chancellors Conference Centre, which provides accomodation, meals and conference facilities on-site.

We begin on Sunday 9th December and finish at lunctime on Tuesday 11th. Conference rooms will be available until 5pm on Tuesday 11th for further discussion if necessary.

As most delegates will arrive on Saturday evening, a social event will be arranged on Saturday. The conference dinner will be on Monday evening at an excting venue somewhere in or around Manchester.
